Lall Steels TMT uses Thermo Mechanical treatment, a metallurgical process that combines multiple mechanical processes such as compression, forging, rolling, and so on, simultaneously with thermal operations such as heat-treatment, water quenching, and heating & cooling at different rates into a single process. TMT’s four metal physical processes – hardening, recovery & recrystallisation, precipitation and allotropic transformations – all make use of microalloying elements, which are important in TMT manufacturing. Steel’s material properties are greatly enhanced by selective temperature and casting conditions, which are not possible with traditional manufacturing methods. That’s why we use latest technologies to enhance the quality of our products.
